The Senna Handbag is a beautiful medium-sized handbag that’s unique, roomy and a delight to carry always. It is a classic handbag that is perfect for ladies of all ages and can be made in stunning color combinations. Senna is a very unique and functional masterpiece that can be made with fabric, vinyl or leather, and based on your fabric choice, it can be made on a domestic sewing machine or an industrial sewing machine.

This is a sewing project for advance bag makers. If you’re an intermediate and you’re willing to take up a little challenge to learn something new or to upgrade your skill level, then you can have a try at this. But you should be familiar with binding raw edges and sewing a zipper along a curve.

• Suggested Fabric for the Exterior: it is best to use a light-weight fabric for this project, or with little mix of heavy fabrics such as vinyl, leather, or denim, etc.
• Suggesting Lining for the Interior: light weight fabric. The lighter the interior lining, the easier it will be for your machine to stitch.
• Suggested Interfacing: If your main fabric is too soft, you can add light interfacing to give the bag some structure. Depending on your fabric choice, some parts of the bag or all of it may need to be interfaced. A separate pattern file for all interfacing has also been included in your purchase in case your fabric choice calls for interfacing.
• Closure: snap buttons/utility snaps/ Kam Snaps or magnetic snaps.
